Since August 2017, Wuhan has taken the lead in setting up the Science and Technology Achievements Conversion Bureau in China to implement the “Docking Project of Scientific Research Achievement Transformation in Colleges and Universities”, and strive to transform 80% of the scientific research achievements in Wuhan. In response, six large docking events were held, involving 228 contract projects with a sum of 29.5 billion yuan.
2018 The Fourth Batch of Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation and Signing Conference - Hubei University Special Session was organized by Wuhan Municipal CPC Committee and Wuhan Municipal People’s Government at Wuhan Conference Center on June 9th. The meeting is hosted by Wuhan Municipal CPC Committee, Wuhan Municipal People’s Government, Hubei University, undertaked by Wuhan Municipal Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Bureau, Hubei University Science and Technology Development Research Institute. Mr. Gu Haoshuang made an overall introduction of scientific and technological achievements of Hubei University. He said that in order to promote the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements and optimize the policy environment for “Industry-University-Research” cooperation, Hubei University has issued some policy documents, such as “Opinions on strengthening applied research and accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements”, “Rules for the implementation of funds management of horizontal scientific research projects of Hubei University (provisional)”, and other policy documents, which gives adequate system guarantee in professional and technical position evaluation, annual assessment, etc. At the same time, organizing “Industry and Technology Alliance”, “Experts Teach the Enterprise Line”, “School and Enterprise Co-build Research and Development Platform”, “Doctoral Service Group, Science And Technology Special Staff”, “Achievements Trade Fair”, “Hubei Province University Achievement Conversion Bidding Fair”, “Industry, College And Research Fair”, “School and Enterprise Personnel Mutual Employment” and other forms of industry, college and research cooperation activities. D. supervisor, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hubei University, as well as the Dean ofHubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials, and Mr. Zhang Fengxue, President ofHubei Baijieruiy Advanced Materials Cooperation signed the construction project of “Spodumene Preparation Lithium Carbonate Process”.
Baijierui project is the first lithium battery materials industry chain project settled in Jingmen Chemical Recycling Industrial Park, Hubei Province. It is invested by Hubei Baijierui Advanced MaterialsCooperation. The project covers an area of 328 Chinese acres, with a total investment of 2.65 billion yuan, and divided into two phases. The first phase of the project invested 500 million yuan, to construct lithium salt workshop, cesium salt workshop, multi-species workshop and integrated warehouse, etc. It was officially started construction on May. 3rd, 2017, and expected to be completed and put into production at the end of this year. The second phase of the project with a total investment of 2.15 billion yuan, to main produce 30,000 tons of industrial-grade lithium materials and 20,000 tons of battery-grade lithium materials. The upstream industry chain is preparation of lithium salt deep processed by lithium ore, while the downstream industry chain is preparation of power battery and storage battery, to form the full lithium battery industry chain. After the put into operation of the project, the annual output value would be 5 billion yuan.
Hubei University Tianshu IRDI is the designer of the “Annual output of 11 thousand tons of battery grade lithium carbonate (Li2CO3) and lithium hydroxide (LiOH)” of the II stage project in Jinmen. In view of theflotation powdery spodumene ore in the project, our institute has newly developed and applied a series of new processes and new equipment with independent intellectual property rights, including

At the meeting, the representative of the results - holder ofHubei University , the Dean of Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials, made a speech on the transformation of the scientific and technological achievements ( see below ) .
At the signing meeting, 51 projects from Hubei University landed in Wuhan. The total signing amount was about 3.951 billion yuan, of which 46 were achievements conversion projects, the signing amount was 2.776 billion yuan, and the contract value was 1.175 billion yuan for 5 achievements conversion platform projects.

Hello everyone!
I am a general teacher in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hubei University. I am the founder of Hubei University , the Dean ofHubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials. Today, I am honored to communicate with you as a achievements holder. This grand conference on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Hubei University reflects the great foresight ofWuhan Municipal CPC Committee and Wuhan Municipal Government, to greatly promote the school’s ability to serve the society and speed up the transformation of the school’s scientific and technological achievements. As a teacher and a science and technology worker, I am able to make a speech at the conference. It is a great affirmation and encouragement from leaders at all levels that I have been engaged in the transformation and industrialization of achievements for many years. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the leaders of Wuhan Municipal CPC Committee and Wuhan Municipal Government and the leaders of Hubei University for their care and trust.
For more than 20 years, I have always believed in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the industrialization of achievements. The purpose is to keep in mind the original ideals and aspirations, keep in mind the mission, focus on the frontier of strategic emerging industries, and continuously promote industrial innovation. In particular, in recent years, more attention has been paid to the construction of the entire industry chain service system, in the promotion of sustainable industrial upgrading of enterprises to achieve “detour overtaking”, seize the commanding height of future development.
I.To help the traditional industrial enterprises to innovate and break out of the predicament to realize the transformation and upgrading.
I was a professional student in the inorganic non-material industry. In my early years, I worked in the front line of production technology in the cement plant of Wuhan Railway Bureau. I deeply realize the great significance of science and technology to energy saving and emission reduction in traditional industry, and have been practicing the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. According to the present situation of grinding technology in China, I and my team have developed and owned “Green ecological cement and slag common integration grinding technology and equipment”, “Ultrafine powder classification separator key technology and equipment”, “Deep recycling of industrial solid waste renewable resources and comprehensive utilization of high and new technologies” and other independent intellectual property rights of advanced technologies in the building materials industry.The first "Mineral powder and cement common integrated grinding production line” has been built in Shandong Shunxing cement Co., Ltd. And more than 20 cement, iron and steel enterprises have been successively realized the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements in Shandong, Liaoning, Henan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Hunan and other provinces. The total annual gross output value is increased by 20 billion yuan and the net profit is increased by 1.6 billion yuan.
II.To create an calcium carbonate industrial chain and stimulate the rapid growth of the regional economy.
In the aspect of preparation of high active calcium oxide, active precipitated calcium carbonate, ultrafine (less than 10 μm) calcium carbonate powder and nanometer calcium carbonate, we have owned five patented domestic leading preparation processes and preparation technologies, such as “Preparation of active calcium oxide by Oxygen-enriched roasting”, “Preparation of nanometer calcium Carbonate by Carbonization”, etc. We have signed an EPC contract with Yulin Shuangcheng New Building Materials Co., Ltd to produce 1 million tons/year of active light calcium carbonate, 100 thousand tons/year of ultrafine calcium carbonate powder and 100 thousand tons/year of nanometer calcium carbonate. It has become the only calcium carbonate industry chain project in Guangxi’s major direct investment projects, and the first calcium carbonate production line under construction in Guangxi with large production scale, complete variety and high quality. On January 30th, 2018, we have started the design of 100 thousand tons/year nanometer calcium carbonate and 300 thousand tons/year precipitated calcium carbonate with Hubei Zhongxing Calcium Carbonate Technology Co., Ltd.
III.Research and develop lithium battery materials preparation technology to practice national development strategy.
After many years of scientific research and technological research and development, a series of major breakthroughs have been made in lithium extraction technology of spodumene, spodumite and lithium clay owning to the independent intellectual property rights of new process preparation technology and equipment in lithium battery materials.
Since 2017, we have signed design contracts with many enterprises, such as Hubei Baijieruiy Advanced Materials Cooperation. The accumulative total amount of battery-grade lithium carbonate has reached 60,000 tons and battery grade lithium hydroxide has reached 50,000 tons, forming 15 billion yuan of output value.
These are some of the work and experiences I have done in the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements over the past 20 years. In the future, I still need to continue to forge ahead, focus on the frontier of strategic emerging industries, and never forget my original ideals and aspirations in the new era of national transformation and development. Keep in mind the mission, through the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the industrialization of achievements to help enterprises in the optimizing structure, increasing power, strengthening advantages, and complementing the short board to achieve the transformation.
Our institute creates a new model of “City + University +Enterprise”, stimulates the motive engine of university, accelerates the construction of intelligent city and the transformation of new industries and traditional industries, shapes the economic structure of the new era, constructs the resource allocation platform of the theoretical research, transform of achievements required by the enterprises.
