Professor Tian Jian of Hubei University was invited to give a keynote speech at the 2nd China-Asean Non-Metallic Mineral Industry Expo
On the afternoon of September 6, Professor Tian Jian, president of Tianshu New Energy Materials Industry Research and Design Institute of Hubei University, was specially invited by Guangxi Non-metallic Mineral Industry Association to make a keynote report entitled "Under the demand of high-quality economic development industry Association - Calcium - magnesium - silicon - Lithium based new materials low-carbon circular economy industry chain construction and engineering Demonstration" at the second China-Asean non-metallic Mineral Industry Expo.
Focusing on the theme of "Building a Strategic hinterland in the Bay Area and promoting non-mineral Green Development", Professor Tian Jian introduced the planning, research and development, design and application demonstration of the whole industrial chain of calcium, magnesium, silicon and lithium based new materials in the field of limestone, magnesite, quartzite, spospoene/mica and other mineral resources of our institute. He pointed out that under the new situation, it is necessary to deepen and enlarge the functional value of mineral resources, carry out cascaded high-value efficient utilization, constantly improve product structure, functional positioning and brand benefits, truly improve the industrial chain, supply chain and value chain of mineral resources, achieve closed-loop high-quality development of industrial structure, and realize a new model of green and low-carbon collaborative development among industries in the industrial park.
At the same time, he said that in the face of severe challenges brought by extreme climate change to traditional industries with high energy consumption and high carbon emissions, our institute has developed new technologies, technologies and equipment with low energy consumption and ultra-low emissions through re-understanding of basic theories and deeply understanding the scientific issues related to natural resource attributes, social attributes and environmental attributes. Actively promote the harmonious and unified scientific development of non-metallic mineral-based industries, realize the transformation and upgrading of traditional industrial technologies, and practice the national major strategy of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" with practical actions.
In addition, the planning and construction experience of Xingye County New Materials Industrial Park in Yulin City, Baishan Green low-carbon New Materials Industrial Park in Jilin Province, Shandong Energy (Zibo) calcium-based New Materials Industrial Park, Pingyuan County calcium-magnesium-based new Materials Industrial Park were also shared.
