Hubei Hualun Xuguang Calcium Industry Technology Co., Ltd. was jointly invested by Beijing Hualun Oriental Investment Management Co., Ltd, Beijing Renhe Hengji Investment Management Co., Ltd., Hubei Minxiang Investment Co., Ltd., and Hubei Yihong New Building Materials Co., Ltd.
The total investment of the project is 2.26 billion yuan, and the project is located in Lukou Town and Chongyang Economic Development Zone. Hubei Hualun Xuguang Calcium Industry Technology Co., Ltd andHubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials cooperate with each other to realize the successful transformation of the achievements of production, education and research, to establish a doctorate scientific research workstation, and upgrade the local technology, economy, environment and resources. The innovative technology and key technology adopted in this project are independent intellectual property rights ofHubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials, which are in the leading level in China.
In recent years, the new material industry of calcium carbonate, which has been vigorously promoted in China, and it has become a sunrise industry in the 21st century. With the appearance of nanometer and ultrafine technology, calcium carbonate has entered the nanometer age, and has driven the development of paper making, plastics, rubber, chemical industry, medicine and food industry. The market demand of nanometer, light calcium carbonate and other series of high-end products is increasing. At present, China is increasing the demand at the rate of 2 million tons per year on average.
Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materialsspecializes in the research and design of the whole industry chain of calcium based materials (green mine mining + fine sand and stone aggregate + high active calcium oxide + nanometer calcium carbonate), Lithium-based new materials whole industrial chain design (cathode materials + negative electrode materials + electrolyte materials + coating + assembly batteries), industrial solid waste recycling, inorganic non-metallic materials, new anti-radiation cementitious materials, large-scale dust removal equipment, noise pollution control, silicate process and engineering, rock and mineral materials and other areas of research and application. Our institute has rich design experience and powerful equipment manufacturing capability in the field of calcium carbonate, and we are committed to creating a green development supply chain of calcium carbonate industry for our partners. In September 2018, Yulin Normal University, Hubei University, Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials, Guangxi University, Yulin Xingye County Shuangcheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. Joint declared the project of “Research and application demonstration of key technologies for preparation of Nano-calcium Carbonate by oxygen-enriched method” (project moderator: Professor Tian Jian) by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Science and Technology Department in the third batch of Guangxi innovation-driven development special funds (science and technology major projects). The total investment of project is 50 million yuan with funding 10 million yuan. At present, the design projects that our institute has completed and put into production, including Shandong Zhongrun New Building Materials Co., Ltd., which produces 10,000 tons of fine sand and stone aggregates per day, and so on. The projects under construction for the design and undertaking of EPC project of Guangxi Yulin Xingye Shuangcheng Building Materials Co., Ltd., which produces 3 million tons of aggregate per year, 1 million tons of high active calcium oxide and 100 thousand tons of ultrafine calcium carbonate and annual production line of 100 thousand tons of nano calcium carbonate.
According to the different grade of limestone, high grade limestone is used to prepare high active calcium oxide, light calcium carbonate and nanometer calcium carbonate, and low grade building adjunct is used to prepare fine sand and stone aggregate in order to save the amount of limestone. To maximize the rational utilization of resources, to achieve the comprehensive use of high value-added mineral resources, zero waste emissions. Put into practice the green development concept put forward by President Xi, “We need jinshan and yinshan, as well as green water and castle peak.”
The crushed and screened limestone extracted from the mine, a part of fine raw materials which meet the requirements of composition and particle size are preheated in kiln tail, roasted in rotary kiln, cooled by vertical cooler to produce highly active calcium oxide. The other part was transported by belt conveyor, treated by tail gas, roasted in Melz shaft kiln, cooled to produce active calcium oxide, which was digested and carbonized to produce light calcium carbonate and nanometer calcium carbonate, and they can be used in medicine, food, chemical, ink, rubber, plastic, papermaking and other fields.
Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials and Hubei Hualun Xuguang Calcium Industry Technology Co., Ltd. plans to promote the cooperation between enterprises and the development of industry, education and research through innovation, and utilize its patent technology and cutting-edge process. To make scientific and high added value use in the rich mineral resources of Lukou Town, Chongyang County, as well as the advantages of high grade and large reserves to produce light calcium intermediate end products and nanometer calcium high-end products with high scientific and technological content. To create the first nano-calcium carbonate high-tech company in Hubei Province, thus driving the rise of a group of billion yuan enterprises in Chongyang County, to build up a cluster of enterprises in the calcium carbonate industrial chain of Hubei Province, and gradually to form a demonstration industrial park of 10 billion yuan. Make it become the important emerging growth pole of industrial development of Chongyang County.
Mr. Shi Feng and Mr.Wang Xinhu said that through Professor Tian Jian’'s explanation, they had a deeper understanding of the nanometer calcium carbonate industry, and requested Hubei Hualun Xuguang Calcium Industry Technology Co., Ltd. to build a green mine and make rational use of resources. Deep processing of nanometer calcium carbonate high-added products to fill the blank of high-end calcium carbonate industry in Hubei Province. At the same time, the departments of the industrial development zones, the people’s governments of Lukou Town, the land, forestry, transportation, electricity, investment, environmental protection, development and reform units should quickly set up special work classes, do a good job of project services, and strive for the early “seven links”, which are water supply, electricity, access, communication, broadband, cable television, drainage facilities, so that the project would have early construction, early completion, and early benefit.
