Mr. Amir Hosseini, Project Portfolio Manager of Iran PERSOL Co., Ltd and Ms. Lv Jing, General Manager of PERSOL International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd visited Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials on March 7, 2018. Professor Tian Jian, Doctoral Supervisor and Dean of Tianshu IRDI, warmly welcomed Mr. Amir and Ms. Lv Jing. The two parties discussed in depth for PERSOL's 20,000 TPA magnesium oxide, 20,000 TPA precipitated calcium carbonate projects, bauxite purification and V-N alloy as well as the dolomitic refractories, magnesium brick and high alumina brick projects.
PERSOL Corporation, founded in 1996, is a professional Iranian company that now meets the demands of global market in terms of minerals, paper and cellulosic products and fresh fruits & vegetables as well. And their trading partners have reached more than 30 countries. PERSOL International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was founded in 2006, fully invested by PERSOL Corporation. Shanghai company devotes itself to introducing the Iranian predominant petrochemical and related products to China, and actively conducts other trades between China and Iran.
In 2017, Mr. Amir Hosseini, Project Portfolio Manager of Iran PERSOLCorporation, learned through colleagues from PERSOL International Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd that Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials has rich experience in the design of aggregates production line, high activity calcium oxide, precipitated calcium carbonate and nano-calcium carbonate industry, aw well as the domestic first-class new technology, new technologies and new equipment with independent intellectual property rights. Mr. Amir contacted our technical staffs to seek the cooperation on the project of PERSOL’s 20,000 TPA magnesium oxide and 20,000 TPA precipitated calcium carbonate.
Professor Tian warmly welcomes afar guests and briefly introduced the basic situation of Hubei University and Tianshu IRDI. Our institute set up Tianshu Calcium Carbonate Industrial Research and Development Institute in Yulin, Guangxi in October 2017 and designed several aggregate production lines in Shandong, Henan and Guangxi Province, especially the unique karst landform in Guangxi Province, China, providing abundant high-grade calcium carbonate resources. Our institute has reached a strategic cooperation with Xingye County, Yulin, Guangxi Province in May 2016, and signed a calcium carbonate EPC project with Guangxi Shuangcheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. At the same time, our institute is responsible for planning the 100 billion yuan of calcium carbonate industrial park in Guangxi. At present, the calcium carbonate EPC project of Shuangcheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. is entering the hot civil construction phase and is expected to be completed within this year. The project including,
1) 3 million TPA sand aggregate production line.
2) 200 thousand TPA high active Calcium Oxide production line.
3) 100 thousand TPA ultra-fine Calcium Carbonate production line.
4) 100 thousand TPA Nano Calcium Carbonate production line.
Professor Tian Jian said that in combination with the unique resources, geographical advantages in Guangxi Province, and the national strategic planning of “The Belt and Road”, Tianshu Calcium Carbonate Research and Development Institute will fully serve the project construction and serve the local economic development.
Mr. Amir introduced business scope and product categories of PERSOL Corporation, and progress of 20,000 TPA magnesium oxide and 20,000 TPA precipitate calcium carbonate projects. Mr. Amir said that Iran has abundant marble and natural gas resources. Taking into account the quality of ore, location, infrastructure, research and laboratory tests, PERSOL has determined the final raw mine from 5 candidate mines, Relevant test results had sent to our institute, and they are applying permissions for the projects now.
Mr. Amir and Mr. Lv Jing highly appraise the advanced technology, new process and equipment of our institute, and hoped that our institute could optimize the design as soon as possible. Both parties detailed discussed the process design of magnesium oxide and precipitated calcium carbonate from dolomite, including the whiteness of the raw materials, grinding, calcination, digestion, carbonation, concentrated and crystallization, drying, cooling etc. We also preliminarily discussed the mode of cooperation of the project and the project budget. PERSOL has many mine resources, for example, celadite (containing SrSO3), Professor Tian Jian suggested that PERSOL’s original ordinary cement production line should be reformed, so as to not only produce ordinary cement but also produce special cement. We discussed technologies such as the purification of dolomite and bauxite, and the preparation of vanadium nitrogen alloy etc.
Mr. Amirwarmly invited Professor Tian to visit Iran to investigate PERSOL’s projects. Professor Tian happily accepted the invitation and said that we have rich experience in the field of traditional building materials. Our lithium-based new energy materials preparation technology also achieved the leading domestic level. Our institute was recognized by Hubei Province Science and Technology Department as the Hubei Provincial Research and Development Center of Lithium-based Materials Preparation Technology on December 22, 2017. Professor Tian hoped both parties could also reach a cooperation in lithium-based new energy materials in the future. While focusing on domestic projects, our institute also actively participate in the national strategic planning of “The Belt and Road”, we also have projecs in Qatar, Philippines, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Vietnam, Russia, Gabon, Turkey and Democratic Republic of the Congo etc. Professor Tian said that our institute has the ability and confidence to do well the 20,000 TPA magnesium oxide, and 20,000 TPA calcium carbonated projects. Because Amir's schedule is very tight in China this time, Professor Tian invited Mr. Amir and Ms. Lv Jing to visit Tianshu Research and Development Institute of Calcium Carbonate and project site of Shuangcheng Building Materials Co., Ltd at convenient time. Mr. Amir said he would be looking forward to the next trip. The two parties had also discussed dolomitic refractories, high-magnesium and high alumina brick projects.
