Green Ecological Engineering of Steel Slag Processing and Comprehensive Utilization Would Be Built in Quzhou, Zhejiang
Quzhou Dongshen Building Materials Co. Ltd carries out industry-university-research cooperation with Hubei University Tianshu IRDI, adopts the patented technology and equipment, and intends to build a 600 thousand tons/year line of green ecological engineering of steel slag processing and comprehensive utilization for Yuanli Metal Product Co., Ltd in Quzhou Green Industry Agglomeration Zone. Green ecological engineering of steel slag processing and comprehensive utilization is one of Chinese promotive ten key projects in No. 600 [2011] “The 12th Five-Year Plan for Comprehensive Utilization of bulk Industrial Solid Waste” Issued by China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Quzhou Green Industry Agglomeration Zone is a national hi-tech industrial development zone. It is the largest industrial platform, project site and economic development engine in Quzhou. The annual yield of 600 thousand tons of steel slags and refining slags, as well as the exhaust gas and waste steam in the production of iron and steel, and the accumulation of nearly 3 million 500 thousand tons of smelting slags bring out resources and environmental pressures on Green Industry Agglomeration Zone.
According to the requirements of No.19 [2014] “Notice of 2014 Annual Ten Municipal Supervise Environmental Protection Special Work” issued by Quzhou Ecological Office, adopt the domestic latest patented technology and equipment to realize harmless treatment and high added value utilization, zero emissions and green production of end, 600 thousand tons of steel slag processing and comprehensive utilization of exhaust gas, waste steam and smelting slags. Link up the heavy chemical industry and solid waste utilization enterprises, build the new mode of circulative economic industry and resource optimization utilization industrial chain, relieve resources and environmental pressures on Green Industry Agglomeration Zone.
The 600 thousand tons/year line of green ecological engineering of steel slag processing and comprehensive utilization can form an industrial chain, and its annual production scale is:
1) Production line of 600 thousand tons of steel slags per year;
2) Production line of 600 thousand cubic meters of commercial concretes per year;
3) Production line of 120 million pieces of steel slag antique bricks per year;
4) Production line of 300 thousand cubic meters of steel slag aerated concrete blocks.
The internal and external irradiation index of related products is less than 1.0, which reaches the national standards. And the annual sales income would be 354 million 366 thousand yuan, with the profits and taxes of 31 million 526 thousand yuan.
“600 thousand tons/year line of green ecological engineering of steel slag processing and comprehensive utilization feasibility study report” passed the first trial by Environmental Protection Bureau, Safety Supervision Bureau and other 4 departments of the Green Industry Agglomeration Zone on August 1, 2014, and it would be submitted to the relevant departments for final judgment recently.
