Hubei University Tianshu IRDI and Gezhouba Laohekou Cement Co., Ltd
Prof. Tian Jian, Dean of Hubei University Tianshu IRDI and Chief Engineer Yu Wen of Gezhouba Laohekou Cement Co., Ltd signed “Industry-University-Research Cooperation Agreement” at Wuhan International Expo Center on Nov. 13th.
Previously, Hubei University Tianshu IRDI and Gezhouba Laohekou Cement Co., Ltd joint declared 2015 Annual Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Projects of Hubei Province – “Green Ecological Disposal and Deep Utilization of Industrial Solid Waste”, and the project has successfully obtained 2 million yuan (RMB) subsidy from Science and Technology Department of Hubei Provinve.
The industrial solid waste can be used as high active supplementary cementing materials after treated. The cementing materials are renewable resource used in cement industry. Through the research on the key technology of industrial solid waste and cement common integrated grinding process, to effective extracte valuable metals in mineral slag, steel slag, furnace slag, fly ash and other industrial solid waste, to achieve high value-added deep utilization, as well as harmless and clean disposal. To build advanced technology and equipment integrated system for consumption of industrial solid wastes in cement industry, promote technological progress and innovation of the industry, and achieve clean production, saving development. This is of great importance to promote the provincial resources and environmental protection progress.
Cement and concrete are high energy consumption and high resource consumption industries. Cement and concrete enterprises must find new economic growth point to promote the adjustment of industrial structure and the implementation of transformation and upgrading in our province. Therefore, in the premise of cement enterprises without new projects, they can produce various varieties of cement and industrial solid waste micro powder by our technology. So that the land resources, human resources and financial resources can achieve the multiplier effect for enterprises. They can produce different products according to the combination of the changing market demands and development demands of enterprises in the new economic situation, which would greatly promote the upgrading of industrial structure and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.
The implementation of “Green Ecological Disposal and Deep Utilization of Industrial Solid Waste” project can promote the development of related industries in our province, alleviate the shortage of fossil energy especially coal resource, reduce land resources occupancy and harm to the surrounding environment caused by industrial waste, achieve efficient use of high value-added renewable resources, accelerate the adjustment of industrial structure and transformation and upgrading of related industries, promote symbiosis among enterprises and industries, play an exemplary role in cultivating and creating high-tech green industry chain.
