Optimize the Allocation of Resources to Boost the Transformation and Upgrading of Cement Enterprises
Prof. Tian Jian, Dean of Tianshu IRDI, was invited to give a lectur for more than 200 technical developers of Southwest Cement Company on Jun. 15th, to optimize the resource allocation and guide the transformation and upgrading of cement enterprises in the reform of the supply front during the "13th Five-Year" period.
Mr. Jiang Chuansheng, president of Southwest Cement Company, extended his warm welcome to the Prof. Tian, and thanked supports of Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials (Tianshu IRDI). And then Mr. Jiang introduced Southwest Cement Company, as well as production problems and difficulties of transformation.
"13th Five-Year" period is a decisive stage of Chinese comprehensive completion of the well-off society, is also the key period of economic transformation and upgrading, as well as reform of the supply front. the CPC Central Committee, State Council, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have made many decisions and arrangements to strengthen innovation driven, promote reform of the supply front, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. Tianshu IRDI always adhere to the "technology and society" concept, actively respond to the "13th Five-Year" plan, guide and help enterprises to adjust the development ideas, and actively resolve overcapacity crisis, has been committed to build a green, low-carbon, recycling innovation and development model for enterprises.
Prof. Tian stressed that the cement enterprises need to adhere to innovation driving transformation and development, make efforts to enhance the capability of independent innovation, adjust and optimize the industrial structure, promote reform of the supply front, as well as transformation and upgrading of enterprises. We should actively cultivate new development momentums, continue to enhance the core competitiveness and the ability of sustainable development of enterprises, adhere to the connotative type development path. Prof. Tian pointed out that the cement admixture is an important part of cement, they have the characteristics of reducing the cement production cost, improving the performance of cement, and adjusting the grade of cement etc. At present most of the cement enterprises are using slag and steel slag, fly ash and other industrial solid waste to make cement admixture. This can not only help to reduce the pollution of industrial solid waste, but also save natural resources, which is conducive to the healthy and sustainable development of cement industry. However, it is not advisable for some cement enterprises to use a lot of low active admixture to reduce the cost of cement production, which would reduce the comprehensive performance of cement products.
Through researches and analysis of the different types of industrial solid wastes, we explore its hydration activity factors, and have independent researched and developed a green industrial solid waste and tailings common integrated grinding process. According to the physical and chemical properties of mineral slag and steel slag, nickel alloy slag, clay, wollastonite, silicon, volcano rock, copper tailings and other industrial solid waste and tailings, as well as their different mineral phases in form, we make full use of the mechanical grinding work decreasing particle surface energy which matched the particle characteristics, optimize the material surface properties of particles and the edge of the crystal structure. Valuable metal components can be separated and extracted by dry technology, combining the physical and chemical optimized matching co-excitation technology to realize the depth activation of the industrial solid waste and tailings.
In the green industrial solid wastes and tailings common integrated grinding process, industrial solid waste and tailings are used as cement admixture, which is a comprehensive, efficient, reasonable and economical utilization of industrial solid wastes and tailings resources. It not only can realize comprehensive utilization the industrial solid waste and tailings with high efficiency and high added value, help completely solve the industrial solid waste and tailings accumulation, but also can reduce the dosage of clinker, reduce consumption of high-quality limestone resources in cement industry, optimize the allocation of natural resources. It is conducive to innovation and development of cement enterprises, helpful to promote reform of the supply front, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the cement industry.
