The First Industry-University-Research Cooperation Project of Hubei University in Africa launched by Tianshu IRDI
Dr. Tian Jian, Professor of College of Materials Science and Engineering, Hubei University, Dean of Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials (Tianshu IRDI), was invited by Shandong Libo Heavy Industries Science & Technology Co., Ltd. to do site reconnaissance work in Lubumbashi, Congo (DRC) for the production and research cooperation project – 1500 t/d clinker new dry cement production line firing kiln inlet system process optimization design on Nov. 25, 2016.
The project of “1500 t/d clinker new dry cement production line firing kiln inlet system process optimization design and five-stage suspension preheating kiln double sprinkler decomposition technology and equipment” is a industry-university-research cooperation project formally signed by Hubei University Tianshu Industrial Research and Design Institute of New Energy Materials (Tianshu IRDI) and Shandong Libo Heavy Industries Science & Technology Co., Ltd on Nov. 6, 2016. Meanwhile, the two sides also signed the contract of “Efficient use of Copper tailings in Kolwezi, Congo (DRC) for preparation an annual yield of 30 million standard dry pressure baking-free bricks production line design and equipment ”.
The above project is first industry-university-research cooperation project of Hubei University in Africa. It is the first step for Hubei University to dock “The Belt and Road” strategy by combination of academic advantages and professional characteristics. At the same time, it is a beginning for Hubei University to serve “The Belt and Road” strategy and concentric build Chinese Dream.
